One of the most astonishing, productive and elevated things a human being can pursue is that of wisdom. The pursuit of wisdom is perfect in that it presents the opportunity for man to acquire true happiness while attaining wisdom. The man who dwells in wisdom is blessed in his being. Perfection is also noteworthy if one were to consider that the more wise a man becomes, the more he achieves the level of being possessed by the great creator, as it took the great creator of all things that are great wisdom to be able to create what is. It is through the acquisition of wisdom we can expect to arrive at a state of immortality. Those who desire to be wise shall be granted power that lasts all eternity. It is a productive pursuit, as it can only bring joy to that which is miserable, and clarity to that which is plagued by a cloud of uncertainty.
There are two instances in which it becomes a burden in order to deal with: We are unaware of that which is said by those whom do the opposite of what we try to achieve as wise men, for us to be able to rationalize the words they say that are contrary to the wisdom we aim to spread amongst men, and therefore uproot the error of these opponents ways, as the doctors of time past were able to heal the impurities of those that existed before, as they lived amongst these men and were able to concoct a remedy for these impurities, having been familiar with their ways.
There are those who opposed the truth as it was, and refused to see it’s legitimacy, and while this may be a hindrance to progress in seeing the truth as it, resorting to natural reason will remedy this temporary delay. The problem lies in the fact that natural reason is often at odds with God’s work.
