If one was to believe a proposal in relation to a truth regarding the nature of God, and only reason was used to discern the truthfulness of the truth itself, there would be three disadvantages that would arise to prevent proper reasoning of this truth:
Knowledge of God would be limited to only a few amongst us.
The reasoning for this point encompasses a few logical arguments that any thinking man would find reasonable. The mere fact that one needs to put themselves through thorough study of a certain subject in order to gain proper knowledge and wisdom in regards to that subject, to become an expert or master in the field, and this would take years with current level of human evolution or development, using our five senses to perceive this information and process it using our current mental capacity. This eventual eureka moment is for many completely constrained by their inability to adequately absorb and process information. These natural limitations prevent them from realizing the truth at all, let alone at a slower pace than others, and therefore it’s only reasonable to assume that this natural blockage for which they personally bear no fault except that is the design with which nature made them, paradoxically, despite their purpose as reasonable beings, cannot attain the ultimate truth, which is that of knowledge pertaining to God. There are those whom are distracted by the banalities of everyday life and cannot dedicate themselves to the ultimate truths that man can attain, through speculation climbing up the ladder to reach the height of human knowledge.
